Our Biblical Purpose

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, our purpose is to follow the teaching and example of Jesus Christ, God's Son, by:

  • Offering ourselves to God in worship,
  • Offering ourselves to each other in fellowship,
  • Offering ourselves to the world with words and acts of witness and reconciling love,
  • Offering ourselves to each other and the world in service,
  • Offering ourselves for discipling, as we are being discipled.

Our Vision Statement

 We believe that God is calling us to renew and refine our lives together in

Christ in these ways during the next 2 years:

  • We will build community by strengthening our relationships with one another so that all will benefit.  We will develop a greater openness with one another in spiritual, emotional, and financial matters.
  • Our efforts will strengthen and multiply the number of small groups with an emphasis on Bible study, application of Bible lessons to real-life situations, and prayer.  Christ living in us will be evident as we joyfully live out our faith together.
  • We will assist persons in understanding their gifts and equip them for using those gifts in ministry to which they are called.

In short, we see…

  • Depth relationships;
  • Vital small groups;
  • People empowered and equipped to use their gifts.

We encourage all ministries to prayerfully take this vision into account as organizing and planning for present and future work is done. We very much look forward to experiencing the fruit of God’s work amongst us!
